Name: Araya
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Power: Araya can control flame and change her form into a wolf when she so desires.
Appearance: Araya is somewhat on the tall side, though not noticeably taller than the average human. She has layered black hair that reaches just past her shoulders and bangs that run across her face. Her eyes are a dark, icy blue to match her personality. Her features are all somewhat angular.
Araya wears dark, baggy jeans with a large black belt slanted over her hips. The belt is studded along the edges with silver. For a shirt she wars a black t-shirt, simple and plain. Over this, she can almost always be seen wearing a long black trench coat. Around her neck is a small silver cross. On her left wrist she wears a black sweat band.
As a wolf, she is pure black with a blue sheen. Her eyes become slightly lighter, toning out to a light blue-gray.
History: Araya lives where she can manage in the town of Sorian. Being a wolf has its advantages when it comes to providing for one's self.
The reason Araya has no home is because her family, what little it was, disowned her after they found out what strange powers she had. But Araya isn't the least bit troubled. Her father was abusive toward herself and her mother. The only reason the family discovered her abilities was during a time when Araya's father decided to become physically abusive with his daughter.
Araya likes to wander downtown. In her wolven form, she struggles to achieve dominance over the city's strays.
Other: Araya has a somewhat cold and unfriendly personality when met for the first time. Araya grew up rather roughly and has developed a distrust for other people. She doesn't speak unless she's forced to, and can be rather aggressive.
After one has struggled past her seemingly impenetrable, cold exterior, Araya makes a truly devoted friend. She is loyal to the utmost.
RPG Example: A section of Araya's past
Araya was propped up against the wall, bleeding slowly from a cut just above her right eye. She was panting. The girl looked up through tear-filled eyes at the figure towering with malice over her. Araya had never been more scared in her life.
"Been out hanging with riff raff again, huh?" The figure spoke in a gruff voice. "I'll teach you come home after your curfew!"
Araya was being "reprimanded" for her offense. The shadowy figure, which called itself her father, had decided a verbal slander wasn't going to cut it this time. Araya wished it had been. She could take the verbal stuff. It was the physical violence that was harder. And it was the first time too.
Araya threw her hands up over the back of her neck. She curled herself up, bracing for the impact of another fist. In place of pain, she heard the yelps of another. Araya thingyed her head to look behind her. To her amazement, a wall of bright orange flame had burst from nowhere. Behind this small wall, her father flung his hand about. Araya smelt burnt flesh.
Wha-what did I do? Araya made a dash for the front door. Her father called out after her fleeing form.
"You come back here again and I will kill you! You hear me? You've been disowned!"
